At Chinaberry Hill, we do a lot of local Seattle and Pacific Northwest travel research for our guests. As a result, we continue to uncover a wealth of daytrip and touring information, including little-known hidden treasures throughout the Puget Sound area (even our local guests are surprised to discover what they've overlooked in their own backyard).
The following is a list of links that we have found helpful to our guests in planning their trip to the Northwest, whether you are planning a Seattle vacation, Seattle honeymoon, or just a weekend romantic getaway near Seattle - Tacoma.
We hope that you find the information useful, and would love to hear from you, if you discover
another great source!

|Seattle Parks - Best Seattle Beaches|
There are many wonderful beaches in the Seattle area. Best Seattle beaches include: Alki Beach (West Seattle - white sandy beaches, great view of the Seattle skyline), Discovery Park and Golden Gardens
|City of Tacoma|
One could spend days, of course. Best Seattle attractions include: Seattle Pike Place Market (a favorite for the people scene, savoring bites from the vendor food stalls and small street cafes), Seattle Center (Seattle Space Needle, Experience Music Project, Pacific Science Center), Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Aquarium, Seattle Underground Tour, Argosy Tours, Woodland Park (the oldest zoo on the west coast- !!) - fabulous for strolling, people watching.
Again, too much to choose from, but best Tacoma attractions include: International Glass Museum, Washington State History Museum, Tacoma Art Museum, Point Defiance (Zoo and Aquarium, botanical gardens, 14 miles of lush trails through old-growth forest, Owen Beach) and the ferry to Vashon Island. Tacoma has the longest stretch of public beach access of any city in the U.S. - walkways, piers, great restaurants, views, microbreweries along Ruston Way in Tacoma WA.
Favorite parks include Point Defiance of course, Lakewold Gardens, Titlow Beach and Brown's Point (fun watching fisherman pull out one salmon after another during season). Great view looking back at Tacoma, Mount Rainier and the cargo ships anchored in Commencement Bay.
